University Symphony Orchestra Auditions Aug. 17-20

Auditions for the University Symphony Orchestra in the Department of Music at the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences will be Friday, Aug. 17; Saturday, Aug. 18; Sunday, Aug. 19; and Monday, Aug. 20.  

Sign up for an audition time at room 238 in the Music Building

The University Symphony Orchestra is open to all students, regardless of major. Orchestra meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2:30-3:50 p.m. for one credit. The USO gives two concerts of symphonic music at the Walton Arts Center each semester. 

For the audition, students should come ready to play a prepared solo, orchestral excerpts which will be available on the orchestra website, and sight reading. Seating assignments will be made after the auditions.
