Williams' Title Renamed to Assistant Vice Chancellor to Better Reflect Role Serving Campus

Danielle Williams is being renamed assistant vice chancellor and director of the Office of Equal Opportunity and Compliance, a title promotion designed to better position and reflect the office's role in serving the campus community through proactive advancement of university's initiatives to create a more inclusive educational and work environment.

The renaming of her position articulates the expectation for her office's organizational structure, reporting lines and the level of institutional responsibility. Her title change will be effective June 1.

Williams is responsible for the implementation of goals and objectives for the Office for Equal Opportunity and Compliance that align with institutional policy and goals. She will work closely with the chief of staff and other key stakeholders on strategic initiatives to promote access, equity and diversity.
