Study Rooms Available Across Campus for Students During Finals Week

Additional rooms for students seeking a place to study for finals will be available during finals week.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Registrar’s office has identified nearly 70 rooms on campus that will not be used for exams during finals week and are available for students for individual study.

The rooms are available on Monday, May 7, Tuesday, May 8, Wednesday, May 9 and Thursday, May 10.

The rooms are for individual study, not study groups or group review, and are available on a first-come basis.

In addition, HPER 310 the  “UREC Study Hall” will be open evenings from 5-10 p.m. Sunday, May 6- Wednesday, May 8. Mullins Library and other traditional study locations will also be open for extended hours as well.  

Students contacted the Chancellor’s Office last May, asking that more study rooms be made available during finals week. In December more than 60 rooms were located and were heavily used by students, so the new tradition will continue as one more effort to promote student success.
