Doctoral Student to Speak Today on Research About Sexual-Minority College Athletes
Megan Turk, a University of Arkansas doctoral student in recreation and sport management, will present her research from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, April 13, in Room 316 of the Health, Physical Education and Research Building.
Turk's presentation is titled "A Case Study: Inclusion of Student-Athletes who Identify as Sexual Minority at an NCAA Division I Institution."
The presentations are part of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series. The seminars are free and open to the public. The series is intended to expose students and faculty to research being conducted in the department.
