U of A Doctoral Student Named to Athletics Post at Alabama A&M
Monica Jones, a University of Arkansas doctoral student in the adult and lifelong learning program, was named associate athletic director and senior woman's administrator at Alabama A&M University, the university in Huntsville, Alabama, announced this week.
The adult and lifelong learning graduate program in the College of Education and Health Professions is delivered online through the Global Campus.
Jones earned her undergraduate degree in psychology and her master's degree in counseling, both from the U of A. She has more than 16 years of senior-level experience at the collegiate level, having formerly worked as a STEM coach and academic adviser at the University of Arkansas-Pulaski Technical College, in graduate recruitment and admissions in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the U of A, as assistant director of athletics for academic and student services at Missouri State University and associate director of student-athlete success at the U of A.
