As we inch closer to the 2018 CMS and UAMusic summer music programs, please remember that the deadline for early registration is Sunday, April 1. You won't want to miss out on the great learning opportunities featured in June and July. Whether you play jazz, in a school band, or the orchestra, there is a camp for you! New to the music programs this summer are the Adult Jazz Camp and Midwest Double Reed Rally, so be sure to read more about them here. 

In each of the programs students will gain expertise from professional musicians on topics including auditioning, performance and instruments maintenance. The information and instruction provided is necessary for any individual wanting to study music at the collegiate level or professionally. 

Below are the offered camps and dates for each: 

  • Adult Jazz Camp: June 7-10 

  • Double Reed Rally: June 10-15 

  • Youth Jazz Camp: June 10-15 

  • Solo String Camp: June 10-15 

  • Drum Major Camp: June 18-22 

  • Junior High Band Camp: July 8-13 

  • Senior High Band Camp: July 15-20 

  • Junior/Senior High Orchestra Camp: July 15-20
