Doctoral Student to Give Talk on Glucose Regulation Research

Lisa Jansen, a University of Arkansas doctoral student in exercise science, will give a research presentation titled "Osmotic Stimulation of Copeptin Acutely Impairs Glucose Regulation" from 3 to 4 p.m. March 9 in Room 316 of the Health, Physical Education and Research Building.

Jansen is a member of the Hydration Science Laboratory, and Stavros Kavouras is her faculty adviser.

The presentations are part of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series. The seminars are free and open to the public. The series is intended to expose students and faculty to research being conducted in the department.
