Free Tai Chi Series Begins Thursday

Pat Walker Health Center's Wellness & Health Promotion is offering an introductory Tai Chi series starting Thursday, Feb. 22, in the Wellness Center.

This eight-week course is free for students, faculty and staff, and does not require pre-registration. Classes meet every Thursday starting Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. in the Wellness Center.

Tai Chi is a graceful form of exercise, originally developed for self-defense, and described as moving meditation. Practicing Tai chi helps reduce stress and anxiety, as well as help increase your flexibility and balance.
