Workshop Highlights Early Career Opportunities From NSF and DOE
The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is holding a workshop to help junior U of A faculty compete for early career opportunities. It will take place from 1:30-4:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 6.
During the workshop, faculty will participate in activities designed to help them craft proposals for the National Science Foundation's Faculty Early Career Development Program, the Department of Energy's Early Career Research Program and others.
All junior faculty who are eligible for these programs—typically, tenure track faculty in their first five years—are encouraged to participate.
Space is limited, and participants must RSVP by March 1. To RSVP, send an email to research@uark.edu with the subject line "RSVP CAREER workshop." For more information, see the Research website.
