Student to Give Research Presentation on Discrimination in Division I Athletics
Sean Strehlow, a University of Arkansas graduate student in recreation and sport management, will give a research presentation titled "Self-Perception and Experiences of Discrimination in NCAA Division I Student-Athletes" from 3 to 4 p.m. today, Feb. 9, in Room 316 of the Health, Physical Education and Research Building.
Sarah Stokowski, assistant professor, is Strehlow's adviser.
The presentations are part of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series. The seminars are free and open to the public. The series is intended to expose students and faculty to research being conducted in the department.
