The Printmaking Club hosts artist Yoonmi Nam at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, in Hillside Auditorium 206. This event is free and open to all students. 

Yoonmi Nam was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, spending part of her youth in Canada. She has received numerous grants and awards to support her research and travel. Nam teaches lithography, Japanese woodblock printmaking (mokuhanga), and professional activities seminar at the University of Kansas, where she has been a faculty member since 2001. Yoonmi Nam will be speaking about her current professional practice in printmaking, including the influences and ideas behind her work. 

This event is funded by Associated Student Government through the student activities fee and is open to all currently enrolled University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, students who pay the student activities fee.
