Award-Winning Improv Group to Present 'Pumpkin Spice Comedy' Tonight
The Laugh Track and Field group participates in long-form improv in a show performed Oct. 6.
The registered student organization Laugh Track and Field will perform "Pumpkin Spice Comedy," a free improv comedy show, at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, in the Arkansas Union Theatre. The show includes both long-form and short-form improv comedy and will feature stand-up comedy from member Peter Kieklak. The show is for college students, so audience discretion is advised.
Laugh Track and Field is an award-winning improv comedy group based out of the University of Arkansas. The group won the Black Apple Award for Best Comedy Group in the state of Arkansas in 2017 and finished second at the Collegiate Improv Tournament in Kansas City in 2015. The group also performed at the Huge Lightning Comedy Festival in 2016 and 2017. Founded in 2014, the group has performed for increasingly larger audiences and has made a mark on the university and the surrounding area, with the mission of bringing laughter and entertainment to University of Arkansas students.
The group is led by Justin Williford, artistic director; Tucker Partridge, business manager; Jacob Lewis, assistant business manager; and Madi Watkins and Josten Moreno, social media directors. Other members of the team include Eamon Lauster, Hudson Hearn, Tommy Rosebrough and Peter Kieklak.
