The Graduate Recruitment Assistance Fund will support faculty and departmental staff in recruiting graduate students.

The Graduate School and International Education has established a Graduate Recruitment Assistance Fund to encourage, empower and support faculty and departmental staff in recruiting students to University of Arkansas graduate programs. The fund will officially launch Sept. 1.

"We recognize the important role faculty and departmental staff play in recruiting students to graduate programs, and we are excited to be able to support and grow those efforts through the Graduate Recruitment Assistance Fund," said Kim Needy, dean of the Graduate School and International Education.

Faculty and staff interested in taking advantage of this funding opportunity may submit an application for consideration on the Graduate Recruitment Assistance Fund webpage. To be eligible for consideration, the department recruiter must attend a Best Practices in Graduate Recruitment session. The sessions will be led by the Graduate School and International Education recruitment team.

"Strengthening graduate education is one the university's eight guiding priorities, and intensifying graduate recruitment is one strategy to achieve that goal," said Lynn Mosesso, director of graduate and international student recruitment and admissions. "We hope launching this recruitment fund will lead to the development of new recruitment initiatives, strategies and partnerships."

More information about the application process and funding disbursement requirements can be found on the Graduate Recruitment Assistance Fund webpage.
