Women Ages 18-30 Needed for Breakfast Study; $50 Compensation
The Department of Food Science at the University of Arkansas is recruiting women ages 18-30 years old to participate in a research study. Compensation will be provided ($50 Walmart gift card). To qualify, you must consume breakfast on a regular basis (5 or more times per week) and have no food allergies or food intolerances.
The study involves 3 visits (up to 6 hours each visit) to the University of Arkansas and the Food Science Department over a 2-3 week period and measurements of the following: DEXA for body composition; appetite assessment via visual analogue scales; resting energy expenditure through indirect calorimetry; and 24-hour food intake.
Participants will be required to complete the study in full in order to receive compensation.
