Arkansas Kickstart Mentor Applications Now Available

Arkansas Kickstart is a first-year transition program designed to engage first-year students academically and socially by fostering a greater connection to campus and educational resources.

Upperclass mentors are paired with instructors in University Perspectives (UNIV 1001) to assist students in successfully transitioning into the institution. In this paid student leadership opportunity, mentors serve as role models and peer connectors to institution resources, student organizations, and other campus involvement opportunities.

Mentor position descriptions and applications are available at nsfp.uark.edu through noon Wednesday, April 12. For more information, contact the New Student & Family Programs at 479-575-5002 or nsfp@uark.edu.
