Student Studying Concussions to Make Research Presentation Friday
Melissa Anderson, a University of Arkansas graduate student in exercise science, will present research about concussions from 3 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 3, in Room 316 of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation building.
Anderson, a second-year master's student, will present "A Preliminary Examination of Fear of Re-Injury in High School Athletes with Concussion." Her adviser is R.J. Elbin, assistant professor of exercise science.
The presentation is part of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series. The seminars are free and open to the public. The series is intended to expose students and faculty to research being conducted in the department.
