Bumpers College Has Awarded More Than $600,000 in Scholarships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences at the U of A has awarded close to 500 student scholarships for 2016-17 worth more than $600,000.

The college and its 10 units combined to award 458 scholarships to 295 students worth $602,565, according to Project Director for Scholarships and External Relations Kaitlin Gragnano.

The Dean's Office awarded 133 collegewide scholarships worth $203,500. The School of Human Environmental Sciences and the nine departments combined to award 325 scholarships worth $399,065.

"Sixty-seven percent of our students who applied were awarded a scholarship," said Gragnano.
