Video Features Teens With Disabilities Who Are Given PROMISE of Independence
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Faculty and graduates of the rehabilitation education and research graduate program at the University of Arkansas are helping teens with disabilities explore avenues of employment through the Arkansas PROMISE program, a $35.7 million federally funded effort that is providing paid summer work experiences for teens who have disabilities.
The College of Education and Health Professions' rehabilitation education and research graduate program prepares professionals who help people with disabilities live independently and find employment. The Arkansas PROMISE is an extension of that mission.
