Office 365 is now available for faculty and staff.

Following the recent mailbox migration, faculty and staff can now take advantage of key benefits within the Office 365 environment, including the ability to create, save and collaborate on documents from anywhere using only a web browser. To log in and get started, visit office365.uark.edu.

Faculty and staff also have the option to download Office apps on up to five personal devices, including smartphones and tablets. To get Office for a university-owned computer, employees must first contact their department tech support.

OneDrive is a cloud file storage service included with Office 365, making it possible to save, share and find documents from any computer with an internet connection. OneDrive apps are available for laptops, desktops and mobile devices, in addition to the web-based service through Office Online.

Office 365 is available to faculty, staff and students free of charge through the University of Arkansas ProPlus license as a result of the Achieve IT: Collaborate Everywhere project team's efforts. The goal of Collaborate Everywhere is to provide easy-to-use, modern services across campus to support academic success and effective business processes.

Faculty and staff who have already purchased Office can continue using it until the personal license expires and then get the free download later. Access to Office 365 services and apps will continue until the individual leaves the university.
