The Office for Sustainability is presenting a  free screening of the award-winning 2016 National Geographic documentary, Before the Flood, at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8  in the UP Theater in the Arkansas Union. A panel discussion will follow the film. Snacks will be provided, and there will be a chance to win a free CamelBak Chute water bottle.

A preview of the film is available online.

Before the Flood, features Leonardo DiCaprio on a journey as a United Nations Messenger of Peace, traveling to five continents and the Arctic to witness climate change firsthand. He goes on expeditions with scientists, meets with political leaders and finds evidence of a calculated disinformation campaign intended to confuse the public about the urgency of the growing climate crisis.
