LITTLE ROCK – Brent Birch will present a lecture at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the Arkansas Arts Center, at Ninth and Commerce streets in Little Rock. The lecture, titled "LR Tech Park: 21st Century Idea Factory," will follow a 5:30 p.m. reception.

His lecture is an opportunity for the public to learn more about Little Rock's investment to make the region competitive economically by enabling technology-based businesses to succeed and advance in a dynamic and supportive environment. The Tech Park is weeks away from opening, which presents a chance to get a sneak peek of the finished spaces, the overall design process and the tenants who will occupy the space.

The 2016-17 June Freeman Lecture Series is sponsored by the Architecture and Design Network with support from the Arkansas Arts Center, the University of Arkansas' Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design, the Central Arkansas section of the Arkansas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and community members.
