TIPS Faculty Support Site Could Be Unavailable Nov. 16

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Teaching Innovation and Pedagogical Support site at tips.uark.edu might be intermittently unavailable between 9 and 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, while the University of Arkansas Global Campus performs server maintenance. If an error message appears, please try again later.

Tips.uark.edu is a support site for faculty who use technology in teaching face-to-face, blended and online courses. The site contains best practice information and step-by-step instructions for topics including Blackboard Learn, creating and streaming video, web-conferencing, online proctoring, creating accessible content, and course design. The site also provides a calendar of workshops, technology training dates and faculty development events.

Faculty support is available in person at Gibson Annex on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Faculty, staff and students can reach Blackboard Support by calling 479-575-6804 or emailing bbhelp@uark.edu. General online step-by-step instructions for Blackboard Learn are available at help.blackboard.com.

In general, the Blackboard Learn Help Desk is available Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 4 to 11 p.m.
