Training on Preventing Campus Violence Offered for Students, Faculty and Staff

UAPD Capt. Matt Mills will give an eye-opening presentation on "Preventing Campus Violence." It will be held 1:30-3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14 in the University Police room 240, in the Administrative Services Building on Razorback Road. The presentation will include everything  from identifying and reporting possible threats to how to prepare and  respond to a variety of workplace threats.

The course will also cover how to identify Red Flag” behaviors associated with threat cases, possible trigger points for campus violence and also discuss resources such as the Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment Team on campus.
