International Dress Day Set for Monday
Photo Submitted

University of Arkansas students, staff and faculty are invited to participate in International Dress Day on Monday, Nov. 14, by wearing cultural items or clothing from around the world. Scarves, hats, sports jerseys or other items of meaningful international dress are all appropriate. International Dress Day participants will be invited to share the stories behind their items of dress.

A group photo of those in international dress will be taken during the International Bazaar at 11 a.m., in the Arkansas Union International Connections Lounge. The International Bazaar will showcase international cultures on campus through cultural information tables, presentations and performances. Winners of the study abroad photo contest will be announced at the International Bazaar as well.

International Dress Day and the International Bazaar mark the campus' official kickoff of International Education Week celebrations. All members of the campus community are invited to participate in International Education Week. A full list of the week's events may be found at iew.uark.edu.
