Tech Experts to Celebrate IT Dec. 2

Campus IT staff members can attend the Celebrate IT event from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 2 in the Arkansas Union Ballroom. At this end-of-year business meeting, technology experts from across campus will come together to celebrate examples of outstanding work that embodied the spirit of Achieve IT: Excellence in Technology over the past year. Register at its.uark.edu/events by Monday, November 21.

To submit a nomination for a colleague (self-nominations will also be accepted), please email cio@uark.edu by November 21 with the employee's name, a brief description of the example of relevant work and the core value in which it fits. Individuals can submit multiple nominations. The values are:

  • Job knowledge/quality of work
  • Customer service/attitude
  • Leadership/influence
  • Teamwork/collaboration
  • Campus engagement/understanding the business
  • Creativity/innovation
