Campus Veterans to be Recognized at Breakfast

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Veterans Resource and Information Center will host a breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 10, for University of Arkansas students, faculty, and staff who have served or are currently serving in the military. 

The drop-in breakfast will be held from 8:30-10:30 a.m. in Room 602 in the Arkansas Union. 

"We are honored to celebrate University of Arkansas veterans who contribute to academics and our campus community," said Erika Gamboa, director of the Veterans Resource and Information Center. "Veterans are woven throughout our campus tapestry from student leadership to academic leadership to the men and women who work to maintain our first-class facilities and support services." 

On Nov. 11 – Veterans Day – the 5th Annual RazorVets Scholarship Banquet will be held at 6 p.m. at the Fayetteville Town Center.  The event will raise funds to endow scholarships for student veterans on the University of Arkansas campus and the featured guest speaker is Maj. Gen. Mark H. Berry, adjutant deneral of the Arkansas National Guard.
