New Professor to Discuss Wearable Fitness Technology Friday

Erin Howie, who joined the University of Arkansas this semester as an assistant professor of exercise science, is the featured speaker at this week's Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series.

Howie will present "To Fitbit or Not to Fitbit? Answers to Your Physical Activity Measurement Questions" from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 in Room 311 of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation building.

The seminars are free and open to the public. The series is intended to expose students and faculty to research being conducted in the department. Refreshments will be served.
