Provost Candidates Finish Their Visits to Campus and Public Presentations

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The three finalists for provost and vice chancellor of academic affairs — Jim Coleman, Mike Sherman and Sheryl Tucker — finished their interviews this past week.

Sheryl Tucker, associate provost for academic affairs and dean of the graduate college and professor of chemistry at Oklahoma State University, completed her visit to campus and her public presentation Friday afternoon.

Mike Sherman, vice president for innovation and economic development/chief operating officer research foundation and professor at the University of Akron, visited campus on Thursday, Oct. 13.

Jim Coleman, provost and vice president for Northern Arizona University visited on Tuesday, Oct. 18.

All three made public presentations on the subject "National Perspective on Campus Priorities," and then answered questions from those attending.

Members of the campus community are invited to provide feedback on the candidates through noon Friday, Oct. 28.
