Kinesiology Student to Defend Dissertation Oct. 19
Lemuel Brown, a University of Arkansas doctoral student in kinesiology, will defend his dissertation from 10:15 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19 in Room 319 of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation building.
The title of Brown's dissertation is "Extracellular Matrix Remodeling and the Inflammatory Response During Skeletal Muscle Regeneration in Sarcopenic Obese Mice." He is a member of the Exercise Muscle Biology Laboratory, and his adviser is Tyrone Washington, assistant professor.
