Sexual Health Is Topic of Research Presentations Friday

Two University of Arkansas doctoral students in community health promotion will present research about sexual health from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7 in Room 311 of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building.

Sasha Canan, who will present "Sexual Assault in Lesbian, Gay & Bisexual Adults in the U.S.," and Mary Hunt, who will present "Understanding College Students' Consent to Sexual Behaviors," are both members of the Sexuality Education & Consent Studies Laboratory at the U of A. Their faculty adviser is Kristen Jozkowski, associate professor of community health promotion.

The presentations are part of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series. The seminars are free and open to the public. The series is intended to expose students and faculty to research being conducted in the department.
