Women Needed for Paid Research Study About Alcohol Intoxication in Young Adults

If you are a current alcohol drinker between the ages of 21 and 29 years, you may be eligible to participate in a research study on the effects of alcohol intoxication on young adults, conducted by an interdisciplinary team of researchers from the Departments of Psychological Science, Health, Human Performance and Recreation, and School of Human Environmental Sciences at the University of Arkansas.

The study will involve a private interview with a researcher, completion of computerized questionnaires, and may involve consuming alcoholic beverages. Participation in the study may take as long as 7 hours.  Participants will be compensated at a rate of $15 per hour of participation. The study will be conducted on evenings and weekends to accommodate most schedules.

Participation requires a brief telephone screening to determine eligibility. If you are interested, you may submit your interest online at lasar.uark.edu/research/research, or contact Alex Melkonian or Kyle Jackson at 479-575-3963, leaving a message with your name, phone number, and preferred time to be contacted.
