Our Campus Diversity Presentation to be Held Sept. 30

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. –  Our Campus Diversity presentation for U of A faculty and staff will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, in Arkansas Union 403.

Our Campus Diversity is an introduction to the University of Arkansas community’s needs and goals for diversity. The presentation is designed to explore the demographics and experiences of our students, staff and faculty, and to foster a climate of inclusion and understanding. The program is designed for new faculty and staff members but is open to any faculty or staff who are interested in contributing to a more inclusive campus.

At the U of A, diversity means the inclusion of and respect for the variety of experiences and characteristics that keep our campus community vibrant. The campus celebrates the many dimensions of ethnicity, age, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ability, socioeconomic background, personal history and intellectual perspective.
