During the 2016 Fulbright Service-Leadership team trip to Vietnam, students traveled throughout the MeKong Delta in south Vietnam.

The Fulbright Service-Leadership team is accepting applications now through Oct. 1 for students to participate in the January 2017 Intersession trip to Vietnam. This interactive and dynamic new program is based in experiential learning through the Study Abroad program.

Led by faculty adviser, Laura Gray, students will travel throughout the MeKong Delta in sunny south Vietnam, where they work alongside community partners to continue humanities programs in education, health and wellness, as well as to complete research with local farmers and university partners. Students earn college credit while seeing the world. "Be the change!"

An information session for all interested students will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, in Kimpel Hall second-floor commons. For more information or to express interest, please email lgray@uark.edu.

Apply for the Vietnam study abroad program.
