New UARK Wi-Fi Network Announced as Part of Achieve IT Project

IT Services announces a new and improved wireless network that will be implemented as part of the ongoing Achieve IT: Network Everywhere Wi-Fi expansion project. Starting July 3, the new network called "UARK Wi-Fi" will be available in all campus buildings with wireless access. This change combines UARK 2G and UARK 5G into one network, and it provides a more modern and reliable connection to the internet.

Students, faculty and staff returning to campus after July 3 will connect their devices to UARK Wi-Fi and log in with a UARK username and password. Detailed setup instructions for Windows, Mac and mobile devices will be available at its.uark.edu/wireless.

Campus guests who do not have UARK accounts can connect to the UARK Guest Wi-Fi network using any email address. Visitors from participating institutions can connect to the eduroam network.

For more information on the Wi-Fi expansion and a chance to provide feedback, visit Network Everywhere on the Campus IT website.
