U of A Welcomes McDonald County Students to Campus Day
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Approximately 80 seventh and eighth grade students, along with school personnel, all from McDonald County, Missouri schools will, attend Campus Day 2016 Monday, May 16, at the University of Arkansas. The University Access Talent Search will host the event.
Students will see presentations by the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences related to science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics fields.
Students will arrive at 10 a.m. and meet at Giffels Auditorium in Old Main and end their day with lunch on the Arkansas Union Mall.
Campus Day showcases the University of Arkansas, giving prospective students the chance to explore the campus as well as be exposed to future opportunities that await them as students at the University of Arkansas.
University Access Talent Search is one of three Talent Search programs under the umbrella of the U.S. Department of Education’s Federal TRIO programs. The programs promote college access, retention and graduation.
