NCTR Research Director to Give Public Talk

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Daniel Acosta Jr., deputy director of research at the National Center for Toxicological Research, will talk about the mission of the center on Monday, May 2.

Acosta's presentation, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled for 10 a.m. in Room 105 in the Chemistry Building. The Office of the Vice provost for Research and Economic Development is sponsoring his talk.

The National Center for Toxicological Research, located in Pine Bluff, is part of the Food and Drug Administration. The 1-million-square-foot research campus plays a critical role in the missions of FDA and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to promote and protect public health.
