Apply for ASG 2016-17 Leadership Positions

Associated Student Government is now accepting applications for Chief of Staff, Freshman Leadership Forum Coordinator, and Office of Financial Affairs Board for the 2016-17 academic year. All applications are open to any University of Arkansas student who meets co-curricular eligibility.

Available applications with associated deadlines are as follows:

ASG Chief of Staff: Deadline Noon (Central Time) on April 15

The application period for the ASG Chief of Staff is from April 11-15. The position will be for one academic year and oversees the Executive Cabinet, including advising on policy, overseeing student leaders, and ensuring goals and objectives are being met. Any questions should be referred to Connor Flocks, ASG President-Elect, rcflocks@uark.edu. This application can be submitted via http://asgforms.uark.edu and is due Friday, April 15 by noon (Central Time). Students should log in with a valid uark.edu email address.  Candidates will be contacted after their applications are received to schedule a brief interview.

ASG Freshman Leadership Forum Coordinator: Deadline Noon (Central Time) on April 15

The application period for Freshman Leadership Forum (formerly known as Fresh HOGS) Coordinator starts Monday, April 11 and will close Friday, April 15, at noon (Central Time). This position serves for one academic year. Any questions regarding this application can be directed to the Freshman Leadership Forum Advisor, Jamie Wangler, at jl016@uark.edu. This application can be submitted via http://asgforms.uark.edu.  Students should log in with a valid uark.edu email address. Candidates will be contacted after their applications are received to schedule a brief interview.

ASG Office of Financial Affairs Board: Deadline Noon (Central Time) on April 20

The ASG Office of Financial Affairs reviews and deliberates on budgets submitted by Registered Student Organizations through the ASG funding process. The committee allocates student fee money to student organizations to fund special events and programs, conference registration fees, and office supplies. Any questions regarding this application should be directed to Shelby Cormack, ASG Treasurer-Elect, at sccormac@uark.edu. This application is available as a PDF on at https://asg.uark.edu/applications/ and http://osa.uark.edu/applications.php. Completed applications are due to the Office of Student Activities, Arkansas Union A665 (above the computer lab), no later than Wednesday, April 20, by noon (Central Time).
