Competitive Cyclists Needed for Hydration Study: $150 Compensation
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Are you an experienced cyclist or triathlete interested in learning more about your performance?
The Human Performance Laboratory at the University of Arkansas is now enrolling for a new study to evaluate the effects of different modes of hydration while cycling in the heat. The study will take place over four weeks and require five visits to the lab.
Participants will be compensated $150. They will also receive a VO2 max test, a body composition test and knowledge of their personal hydration status.
This study is conducted under the direction of Stavros Kavouras, associate professor of exercise science. The protocol has been approved by the University of Arkansas Institutional Review Board (IRB) for human subjects in research.
