Doctoral Student to Give Talk on Research About Heat Stress, Hydration
Matt Tucker, a University of Arkansas doctoral student in exercise science, will give a research presentation about heat stress and hydration and how it affects the body from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, in Room 316 of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building.
The presentations are part of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series. The seminars are free and open to the public. The series is intended to expose students and faculty to research being conducted in the department.
Tucker's presentation is titled "Effect of Heat Stress and Hydration Status on Cardiovascular and Thermoregulatory Function." Tucker is a member of the Human Performance Laboratory.
