Stephen W. Dittmore, University of Arkansas associate professor of recreation and sport management, will present "College Athletic Departments as Media Organizations, and the Regulation of Content: Issues for the Digital Age" from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, in Room 311 of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building.

The presentation is part of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series. The seminars are free and open to the public. The series is intended to expose students and faculty to research being conducted in the department.

Dittmore's presentation is part of an article in press with Marquette Sports Law Review. The article examines whether an athletic department can limit access to traditional media while, at the same time, disseminating restricted content on its own media platforms.

Dittmore co-authored the textbook Sport Public Relations.
