Video Features 93-Year-Old Great-Grandmother, Now in Her 45th Year Attending U of A Classes
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Elizabeth Reagan raised 13 children and then decided to head back to school, attending her first class at the University of Arkansas in 1971. Forty-five years later, this 93-year-old great-grandmother is still signing up for new courses and has no plans to stop.
"I don't think there's any secret," Regan says. "I mean what do you do when you wake up in the morning? I get up and go."
Two of Reagan's grandchildren are currently taking classes at the U of A, and they sometimes see their grandmother — and fellow student — between classes.
