Legislative Committee to Meet in Fayetteville on Monday, Dec. 7
The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, will host a meeting of the Joint Legislative Committee on Advanced Communications and Information Technology at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7. The meeting will be conducted in the Engineering Research Center at the University of Arkansas Research and Technology Park located at 700 Research Center Blvd., on the south side of Fayetteville.
The committee makes continuing studies concerning the development of access to statewide public telecommunications networks for distance learning, telemedicine and universal access for governmental entities and other issues concerning advanced communications and information technology, either initiated by the committee or referred to it by either house of the General Assembly for study between legislative sessions.
This meeting is open to the public. Refreshments will be available to everyone in attendance.
