Inclement Weather Cancels Camping for Auburn

Due to the likelihood of thunderstorms, the student camping opportunity that was planned for Friday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 24, is canceled out of concerns for student safety.

"After consulting with several students, administrators, and the National Weather Service, we reluctantly determined that cancelling camping was the most prudent decision," said Rainer Gall, adviser for Associated Student Government. "The safety of our students was the determining factor, since the worst storms are forecast to occur overnight when buildings are closed."
