Adopt-A-Classroom Seeks Applicants for Fourth Year

Last year, students at Lincoln High School produced a video as part of the Adopt-A-Classroom program.

The Education Renewal Zone at the University of Arkansas is seeking faculty and staff members in all academic departments to partner with local kindergarten to 12th grade teachers in Northwest Arkansas through the Adopt-A-Classroom program.

Training is offered to assist participants in determining how to utilize expertise in a K-12 classroom. Participants will teach in their partner classroom once a month for a semester or a year.

Previous matches include a seventh-grade science teacher with a psychology professor, a second-grade teacher with a food scientist and a high school band director with the U of A director of athletic bands.
