STAR Central Hosts Hoops for Hope
Join STAR Central to take a shot toward helping end sexual assault and relationship violence. STAR Central is hosting Hoops for Hope, highlighting September as National Campus Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This event will assist in promoting resources available on campus as well as in the community of Fayetteville for victims or survivors of sexual assault.
Hoops for Hope will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, at the Union Mall.
Participants will be challenged with questions and scenarios which will help dispel myths about rape culture, and highlight specific statistics related to sexual assault on college campuses.
Overall, we have hope through educating our University of Arkansas students, faculty, and staff, they will become more proactive and be a part of the movement toward ending sexual assault and relationship violence.
There will be an opportunity for participants to win prizes. Shoot to show your support!
