Doctoral Students to Present Research on Sport Management Topics

University of Arkansas students Colin Cork and John Malmo will present their research on topics in sport management from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, in Room 311 of the HPER Building.

The talk by Cork and Malmo, who are pursuing doctoral degrees in recreation and sport management, is part of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series. It is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Cork's topic is "Athlete Twitter Endorsement Activity and Fan Response." Malmo's topic is "Addressing Gender Equity in Sports: Recreation and Sport Management Students' Perceptions of Instructional Practices."

The purpose of the seminar series is to expose students and faculty to research being conducted in the department, which is in the College of Education and Health Professions.
