New Computer Lab Printing System Starting Sept. 12

Starting Saturday, Sept. 12, students can manage their printing quotas using a new PrintSmart website at printsmart.uark.edu. In addition to a new look-and-feel, new tools, including a summary of printing activity, refund options, Web-based printing and transaction history will be featured on the site.

Students can also use Web Print, a new PrintSmart feature, to print to a computer lab from on or off campus. By logging into printsmart.uark.edu and selecting Web Print, students can print PDFs or documents from Excel, Word and PowerPoint in any General Access Computing Lab printer on campus. Documents will be available to release for printing for up to 24 hours.

Previous configurations of laptops or desktops for printing to the labs will no longer work starting Sept. 12.

For details on the student printing quota and instructions for using Web Print, see http://its.uark.edu/labs/print-quota.
