Nancy Fondren, administrative support supervisor in the Graduate School of Business, has been named employee of the year by the Sam M. Walton College of Business.

Fondren was also named Employee of the 4th Quarter. Other nominees for Employee of the 4th Quarter were Skyler Barry, Stacy Crotser, Pamela Heinzel and Sara Yell Phillips.

Anyone in the college may nominate colleagues for the award, which is given to employees who show superior customer service that enhances the image of the college, above and beyond the scope of that employee's job description.

The other employees of the quarter for the just-completed fiscal year were: Renee Clay, Employee of the 1st Quarter; Susan Wagler, Employee of the 2nd Quarter; and Tricia Kelly, Employee of the 3rd Quarter.

The winner of the award receives a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize. Winners are chosen by Walton College Dean Matthew A. Waller, the associate deans, the assistant deans for undergraduate and graduate programs and the Walton College Staff Council.
