African Student Organization Sponsors 'Sounds of Africa' Sunday, April 19

African Students Organization invites students, faculty, staff, and the Northwest Arkansas community to attend the annual Sounds of Africa event at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 19, in the Arkansas Union Verizon Ballroom. 

The event will showcase performances from various African countries and cultures. The group "Africaya'' will dance with the sound of the drums. Dinner will be served prior to the performances. 

This event requires a ticket for admission. Tickets are free to students and $5.50 for non-students. Ticket distribution will be April 3, 6, 8, and 10 from noon to 4 p.m. in front of the Arkansas Union Food Court. Students must show ID to pick up a free ticket. A limited number of non-student tickets are available for $5.50 each.

This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government and is free to all currently enrolled University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, students who pay the student activities fee.
