Professor to Present Research on Recovery from Concussion

R.J. Elbin, assistant professor of kinesiology at the University of Arkansas, will present his research from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, March 13 as part of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series.

The seminars take place in Room 316 of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building. They are free and open to the public.

Elbin is director of the Office for Sport Concussion Research in the College of Education and Health Professions. His talk is titled "Examining Recovery Outcomes Among Concussed Athletes Removed and Not Removed from Play."

The purpose of the seminar series is to expose students and faculty to research being conducted in the department. Refreshments will be served.
